COHORT SCHEDULE
The five-week hybrid schedule includes:

Online theory: 40 hours of self-paced coursework completed during Weeks 1–4, with weekly deadlines

In-person skills laboratory: Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. during Weeks 1–4

Supervised clinical training: 15 hours scheduled across Saturday and Sunday during Week 5
Exact clinical dates, daily times, and locations will be provided before the cohort begins. Attendance is required for all scheduled skills-laboratory and clinical sessions.

How Hybrid Learning Works
Online Theory
Complete assigned lessons, activities, and knowledge checks through the PCC Clinical learning platform.
Students must follow the course schedule and complete all required online assignments by their stated deadlines.
In-Person Skills Laboratory
Practice nursing assistant skills through instructor demonstrations, guided practice, return demonstrations, and competency checkoffs.
Supervised Clinical Experience
Apply approved nursing assistant skills in a supervised clinical setting after completing all required preclinical instruction and competency requirements.
All skills-laboratory and clinical sessions require in-person attendance.

The complete curriculum and required competencies will be provided through the approved program materials.
Students must complete all required preclinical instruction and competency requirements before participating in direct patient care.

Have reliable transportation to skills-laboratory and clinical locations

Have regular access to a computer and reliable internet service

Be able to participate safely in required online, laboratory, and clinical activities

Submit all required documentation by the stated deadline
Admission is not complete until all requirements have been reviewed and the applicant has received written acceptance.
Applicants should review Nevada’s certification eligibility requirements before enrolling. These requirements include fingerprinting and possession of a valid U.S. Social Security number or individual taxpayer identification number.

Provide identification, screening results, health records, and any other required documentation.

Qualified applicants will receive written acceptance and detailed enrollment instructions.

Complete Enrollment and Orientation
Review and sign the enrollment agreement, student policies, and required acknowledgments. Pay the required tuition or enrollment payment and complete program orientation.
Students will receive access to the PCC Clinical learning platform after completing the required enrollment steps.

Program Completion Requirements
To successfully complete the PCC Clinical Hybrid CNA Training Program, students must:

Meet attendance and punctuality requirements

Demonstrate the required nursing assistant skills

Successfully complete all laboratory competency checkoffs

Earn an overall score of at least 80% on the program’s theory examination

Pass the program skills examination

Meet all clinical performance requirements

Complete the required program evaluation

Satisfy all academic, conduct, documentation, and financial requirements
Students who successfully complete the program receive a program certificate of completion.
Program completion does not automatically grant Nevada CNA certification.
Nevada Cna Certification
After successfully completing the program, graduates must complete the certification process established by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
Graduates must:

Submit the Nevada CNA certification application through the Nevada Nurse Portal within one year of completing the approved training program

Provide proof of successful program completion

Complete the Board’s fingerprinting and eligibility requirements

Register for and pass the approved Knowledge examination
-
Register for and pass the approved Clinical examination

Satisfy all remaining Nevada State Board of Nursing requirements

Applicants must have a valid U.S. Social Security number or individual taxpayer identification number to qualify for Nevada certification.
